Time for another

I'm Paul and I'm from Texas and I traded in my 2013 5DR LTZ 1.4 for a 2018 5Dr LT 1.4. I really enjoyed the 100,000 i put on my 2013. It gave me good mpg and very few service issues. The 2018 has a sunroof and Driver Confidence package, as well as the Convenience package which the LTZ didn't have so even though I don't have leather the car has more on it. The only thing I'm having issues with is the all new MyLink radio. I haven't seen anyone here mention issues with the USB ports. I pulled my thumb drive from the LTZ and when it's plugged in you can see all of the music, but none of it plays. I had a radio update done Saturday but there is no change. Any suggestions?

USB works fine in my 2017 with MyLink. Maybe copy the music files back to a computer then reformat in FAT32 and check for any errors on the USB drive?
If no errors, then copy the files back to the drive.

USB drives can start to fail and corrupt files. Some computers/deives may read then ok and others not.

Update: Called OnStar and they sent me to the Infotainment Help Center. The New IOR radio in the 2018 Trax and Sonic doesn't like multiple formats on the drive and won't play WMA files at all even though the owner's manual says it will. There is a revision for the owner's manual coming. My brother just reformatted all my music into MP3 and everything is working again.
