Good day everyone;
So, I own a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic Base Model, it has 125,000km on it.
Anyways; When i bought the car brand new January of 2015 i noticed at about 2 months into owning it, that it would shake hard at red lights and the RPMs would dip about 100 - 300rpm.
I brought to the dealership i bought it from about 8 times during the course of owning it for this issue and stopped once warranty finished. Now this issue is so bad that my car attempts to stall non stop while I'm driving. I'll watch the RPMs ill be doing 80km/h @ 1.8k rpm and ill watch it drop to 700rpm now and almost stall on me. and at stop lights it shakes very violently now...
What my questions; since i have proof of this issue (with two different dealers); even email proof as well from corporate; would they still be liable under the expired warranty since this issue persisted since purchase?
Any help would be very appreciated!(Hopefully i posted this in the correct area as I believe its the engine)
