Weathertech Floor Mats

A few months ago I purchased a new 2014 Chevy Sonic RS. I like the carpet mats that are in there now, but with the winter months approaching I feel like they aren't going to hold up. I know they care for water by any means.

I was curious if anyone knew if the 2013 or 2012 versions of the digital fit models work for 2013.

Thanks.... I did do a search, but I didn't find the information that I was looking for. I have called weathertech, but their engineers haven't gotten around to it. A matter of demand and supply.

For my job, I am in and out of my vehicle a lot during a typical day. My wear and tear is higher than the typical person.

My LT Sonic came with the rubber floor mats, surprised yours didn't. If you want really good mats get these though, I'd get them if mine didn't come with the rubber ones already. They are expensive as all hell but they are the best out there. The 2012 model would work fine, nothing changed.+

At this time of year I'm tracking in a lot of snow and ice into the car. The weathertech digitalfit mats were well worth it for me. Especially since I got someone to get them for me for my birthday last year. ;D

That said, I find they have three cons: -They look like they hold a lot of water, and they do. But it's difficult to get them out of the car to dump them out without spilling. I have to wait till it all freezes first.
-The driverside retaining buttons don't lock into position like the OEM mats do.
-The dead pedal area is only half-covered. But this is still better protected than the other options.

I have them and I'm very satisfied. Picked them up at the factory showroom since it is only a half hour away. Saved a few bucks on shipping and their facility is quite impressive.

Try looking looking around your local kijiji or craigslist for sale section. I found my set for $50 for the fronts and backs, also saw the cruze going for $100.

Thank you for all of the replies everyone. I do like the husky liners, but a $50 voucher from my dealership is going to sway me towards the weathertechs. They carry the weathertechs and not huskys.

I was fairly positive the interiors didn't change much from year to year for the footwells based on driving both year models.

rs mats fit with these

not to be a two mat person but do you know if our floor mats will still work with these if I put them in on top of them. one of the perks of having an RS is the nice mats with the RS emblem. still checkin out the options for the dead pedal but do like these. thanks for the info

Running two floor mats is notorious, with any car, any manufacturer, to interfere with at least the gas pedal since it usually sits lower than the brake.

There are many stories of gas pedals getting stuck down because someone was running two sets of floor mats.

If showing of the "RS"is that important to you, just swap them out in the spring and fall.

Broke down and bought the GM rubber mats. Found them for 90$ with free shipping. I cant stand these generic gm mats sliding around anymore.

FYI I just discovered tonight you can get both WT and Husky on Amazon at a bit less dough than directly from the mfg sites.

I am on my second set of oem rubber mats. If you drive a lot don't get them. They look nice but wear through very fast. I got the first set in sale and the second set was replaced by the dealer cause it had only been less than ayear and mine had holes.
