Cooling slot for the radio --- nothing happened when I stuck my credit card in there

I think that is just a card holder. Credit card or business cards too i suppose. My 2017 has it upright to the left of the radio. I never use it [emoji2369]

i use it for my drivers licence whenever im driving my sonic

I stuck a cellphone holder thing in there, works fine. Also, parking/bridge/tunnel/ferry tickets and such.
