What wax are you all using?

Just checking for suggestions. It's been a long time since I've had a car that I actually cared to wax and I have no idea what is considered good anymore. I'm looking for a great shine, easy to apply, and an in-between cost. It doesn't need to be $5, but I'm not paying $50 for a bottle of wax either.

Any suggestions?

Wax? I've never waxed this car and never will. The best it ever got was the liquid 'wax' that those manual car washes offer.

Made some of the swirls on the trunk disappear. It's pretty good stuff.

I'm a fan of Turtle Wax Platinum. Affordable, comes off easy and has a great shine.

I tend to like the Zaino wax. Some other store ones that advertise themselves as a polymer come very close.

I use this turtle wax you spray on while the car is wet and then dry the car. Works great I guess... Won't know for sure for 5-10 years when paint starts flaking (or hopefully doesn't).

I also recently started using an auto car wash once in a while. It uses a rainex wax over the whole car. Seems to work too.

Go with the colonite wax. I use that stuff on $1,000,000 yachts and it protects the hull for almost the entire season. It is probably the most durable wax out there. I recommend waxing small areas then buffing before it dries. Once this wax "sets up" it can be a pain to remove.

Nu Finish is my favorite. I certainly haven't tried them all but this one really works great and it's reasonably priced.

I have been using the Nano spray lately out of laziness and speed, but when I want to do a nice job on the car - Zymol blue cleaner wax works great. Think it's ~15 bucks. Comes off nice and easy.

Wolfgang Fusion Concours Series is not cheap, but you won't be disappointed with the results... simply fantastic!
Lucas Slick Mist Fast and Easy Speed Wax is a terrific product to use in between.

As a Harley owner, it is required to invest in everything wax. My God.. Don't get me started.

What I boiled it all down to:

"Serious Wax", buffer and elbow power, two hours work; Mothers, Bar None.

Wash, dry, headed out soon: Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax. By far the best smelling wax of all time.. but it's the real deal.. In fact, I use this 99% of the time. It'll give you the buffer shine with none of that work. Shoot it onto the paint, and rub it dry right away. Boom.

I use Turtle wax Ice products for all my detailing needs. They seem to work really well. Now if it would just stop raining or frosting here it would stay shiny longer... lol
