Hey all....Got a 2012 Sonic 1.8 sedan a couple weeks ago. I was out looking for a car that got good gas mileage and was closing the deal on a 2012 Corolla S when this little sonic caught mine and my girls eye... I thought there was no way I would fit in it being that I'm 6'6" but to my surprise it was roomier than the corolla and I like the styling and interior a whole lot more. not to mention it was $1500 less.
I have been in the car scene for many years and like to mess around with them. I have my pride and joy (God's LT1) a 1996 Firebird Formula WS6. It has a big cam full bolton LT1, built up valvetrain, a built trans with a 3k stall converterand a lot of suspension work.
My Fiance drives a full bolton 2004 GTO-LS1. Its a fun car but a little heavy and slower then the firebird. I also have my kid hauler which was my daily driver up until the Sonic purchase. A 2001 Tahoe 4x4 LT. 6" Lift, 35" tires and exhaust and intake. Its been an awesome and most reliable truck I have ever owned.
So being all of my cars get horrible mileage I was tired of how much I was spending at the pump and decided to get me something new... Well here it is..
I already plasti dipped the bowtie and the emblems and chrome in the back.
