Windows 8 RC

Who's using the Windows 8 Release Preview already? I'm actually digging it quite a bit. Great UI and it seems snappy!

I downloaded it but never got around to installing.

I'm a Linux person myself, but I dual-boot my laptop for those times when I must do something in windows

I've been using it since one of the earliest betas. The new RC is obviously much better. I love it, although I don't think I'll be paying to upgrade fomr 7 to 8.

If they work out some of the remaining bugs I think i'll probably upgrade. I'm using it as my daily driver right now and so far no major issues, especially after I ran windows update.

Everything I have seen of it looks like Apples Lion OS, so I would probably like it. All I have PC wise anymore is a netbook for traveling and 7 is about as far as I think that one can go. I might be being a better laptop to speed up the tuning process on the Sonic and GS and will probably wait until they are selling with 8 on them.

It's neat, but I'm in agreement with inm; I won't pay to upgrade. When it comes with my next computer, I'll use it.

I couldn't even get it to install from a USB. Then I just downloaded Linux instead.

I don't think I'd like the UI though from what I've seen. I'll probably stick with 7 for quite a while.

thats one reason i like apple, osx Mountain Lion is only gonna be 19.99 in the fall.

Perhaps, but the price premium for an Apple far exceeds the cost of Windows.

I'd rather completely avoid anything that has to do with Apple corporation, if at all possible.
