Wiper blades: your recommendations

Don't remember the brands I priced out but it was about $15-$20 cheaper to go through the dealer for them and they even installed. Was always told the dealer would be more but for this item my dealer was much cheaper, dealer was also cheaper for the cabin filter as well.

I think it says 12-15K miles so basically yearly and yes it does make a big difference in air quality from my experiences.

Where is the cabin filter? I like the rainex wipers, the ones that lay flat. Not sure the size. It will say in the book at the auto parts store.

Um no, sorry to burst your bubble. I know for a fact the Trico Force is most definitely available in 15" size, have one on the way from Amazon.

That's good to know but I needed mine in a pinch and couldn't wait for amazon. Auto zone / oriellys auto and advance auto didn't even have a listing 15 inch with the correct connection for the wiper arm.

I lost my drivers side wiper driving down the road and had to replace it. I went with a trico ice as winter is coming. $15 onsale from farm and fleet. They had three brands and about ten options for the drivers side and passenger side. The computer I used for a parts search was accurate and told me exactly what I needed for each side.
Everything I needed for the install was in the package. Just needed to change the connector out.

Where I live they sell 15" at the store... Maybe because it rains every day here.

FYI, the Trico Onyx wipers fit also, and they're excellent so far -- though I'm still waiting for the next heavy FL rainstorm to really put them to the test. They're slightly pricier, but are VERY highly reviewed, due to for their design. Naturally, you can knock the prices down significantly if you buy from AAP, since they always have crazy coupon codes.
Part numbers are 26-260 (driver's side 26") and 26-150 (passenger side 15").

Rainex treatment > wipers. I rarely use my wipers but I do 80% highway.

I've tried many of the popular brands over the years and the best I've found are Valeo. These are the only ones I use as they're long lasting, don't smear and are very quiet. Haven't put them on the Sonic yet as I just bought the car and the blades are ok so far.

Just read through this and didn't see it anywhere... does anyone know what size the rear is? I just grabbed myself Onyx's from AAP for the front, but their system doesn't list the rear size. I even tried to look it up myself on their computers (used to work there) and it wasn't showing.
I'm thinking it's a 10 or 11? If I had to guess. But I don't want to guess...

I just got RainX blades. The computer said 24" and 15". However, what actually fit was 14", the 15" rubbed the far side of the window edge. And with a 14" passenger blade, 26" blade fit in the driver's side. Luckily Pep Boys has a "we install free" policy, so we were able to play around and figure out what fit before I paid, instead of buy, try, return.
Did not replace the rear blade, so no new news there.
