You're going to have to check the codes and if you see nothing you will have to have the dealer check the codes. A light that says "Bring it in for service" and nothing else isn't much to go off of. It's under warranty, unless you have done something that will void your warranty bring it in and have the dealer take care of it.

Yup CEL looks different and does not show up on the LCD itself. Modern vehicles are built with the rich kid who drives her BMW 20k mikes w/ out performing any routine maintenance in mind

How was he supposed to get Code 82 to search with?! I have never seen that symbol before so I would think a new member would have zero chance on solving the problem on his own.

Would have been a much different post if the owners manual was with the car.

It still didn't say that the symbol says to change your oil. So it wouldn't have mattered either way. That image I posted above is from the owners manual...
