Yes.
To get the railcar# the dealer can call the the GM Dealer Business Center or
log into GM GlobalConnect -
go to Order Workbench
go to Manage Inventory
go to Vehicle Order Inquiry
Enter Order #
When the info comes up they can click
on the blue order # and scroll down to
the event history. It will list the railcar#
Although I've never actually called CSX's number myself, but from what I understand, you would call CSX at 1-800-235-2352. Press "1" when it asks you if you want location or weight. From there it should ask you for the car initials (you'll say ETTX), and then it will ask for the car number (902520). If it asks you for the next car, just say "done." After this, you should receive your tracking information. It is also important to note that you should only use the automated system; we are unable to get tracking information from their live agents.
IMPORTANT: Hang up if you get a LIVE agent. We are flying under the radar when we do this and do not need to unintentionally upset anybody by interfering with their doing their job.
There are other numbers so if this does no work come back and I will track those down.
