Porting the Intake Manifold

That is normal if i remember right. My Ultragauge shows -8 to -10 idling (my previous Sonic did as well, also note that my boost gauge tied to the intake manifold shows -18 to -20 at idle) havent installed my boost gauge on my new sonic, but will reg the same. Not sure when eng braking (should be in vacuum sense your off the throttle) havent looked at my gauge when i am.

That's a relief! I put my wideband in at the same time, which reads dead lean all the time so i was a bit worried for a second, but that turned out to be a bad sensor. The loss of vacuum hasn't seemed to cause any braking issues and no CEL yet. And I spend quite a bit of time in gear off throttle to compensate for the in gear WOT

So I was working my way through this mod. When I was screwing the manifold back on, I sheared one of the 6 E10 bolts. The bolt wasnt even flush with the manifold yet, so i think there must have been some kind of debris that made the bolt so damn hard to screw on. The bolts position was one that was directly behind one of the other bolts. Any of yall know if this will leak pressure, if the other 5 bolts are in?

UPDATE: took her out for a spin today and she ran fine with only the 5 E10 bolts on the manifold.

To confirm - ported the manifold last weekend and alot of full throttle runs over the last week; it runs just fine on the stock ecu, no error codes being thrown, and it sounds much better now on throttle. Less bbbvvvvvv, and more gggrrrrrrrr.
