Little Camaro anyone?

I've been toying around with this idea and would love to hear your thoughts. The visual similarities between our beloved Sonics and the new Camaro are too apparent to ignore. To see how far I'd have to go, I found pics of both cars head on, added some eyebrows to mimic the Camaro's hood extension over the headlights and plan to smoke tint the inner headlights. I've done some rough drawings of what it'd take to get that "Camaro" look, and I think it could be done inexpensively. Some strategically placed solid matte black vinyl in a few spots. Has anyone else toyed around with the concept?

I have not but am interested in seeing what your thoughts are since I have owned three Camaros at one time or another over the years.

Side thought: I have heard of the Sonic being referred to as Corvette's little brother but can not recall anyone calling it a little Camaro.

ah, touché. I forget the auto and manual get different engines for the V8, and that the ZL1 is a monster. hahaha.

Doh!

I mistakenly assumed everyone would know that I was talking just about the front fascia and perhaps the induction cowl on the hood. I'll get a trial download of PhotoShop for Windows and put a concept graphic together.

That was the Cobalt. Chevy even had two or three commercials with them "playing" together, with the Cobalt being annoying to the Vette.

I agree always open to ideas. I was trying to deside if I wanted to build the crap out of the sonic or just build for looks. I'm thinking just for looks right now all my money going to racing .

Just, No. To everything you have said.
With a ZL1 being my dream car, there are no comparisons between this slow 4cyl, 4 door compact and a 2 door, aesthetically beautiful, supercharged V8 sports car that competes with the best on the Nürburgring circuit, except being manufactured by the same company.
