lol, oops...My Bad. Inserts Foot in Mouth... Sorry. I know you said you were short but i didnt think you were that short that you needed to sit that close to the wheel. If it makes you feel better, My brother has his seat slammed to the wheel and arched towards the wheel and he is slightly taller than me. I go from sitting in mine to sitting in his and it hurts lol. I get it if your not tall and have to sit that close like you to reach the pedals. but he is slightly taller than me and sits that close.

I hate getting service done on my cars because I sit so close to the steering wheel I'm embarrassed to hand over my car. I'm sure the service guy opens my driver's side door and says WTF lol.

When I first starting driving I use to sit really close to the steering wheel in my mustang until I got into an accident and my knee got jammed between the steering wheel and door causing my knee cap to dislocate...The cop that showed up walked over to me and said "maybe you are too short to be driving, are you a legal midget?"
