Well if I can get it to post there is a short tube between the tip and muffler so I would cut and reweld a longer one in . As long and you know how to weld stainless.
The tip maybe sticks out a 1/4 inch its pretty flush

Idle is fairly quite like I like. But it does carry along way I can hear it in the house and once you get on it it comes alive

I'm interested in someone throwing it on a 1.4. So far it's just two 1.8's.

A HB cat-back exhaust is a HB cat-back exhaust no matter what. From the second cat back both engines exhausts are identical. So, the test pipe/high flow second cat's fit both as well as the cat-backs. I have proven that making a HB exhaust fit a Sedan is extremely easy as well. All you really need as a tailpipe extension and reuse the tip or pick up one you like.

and if you really want it to fit a sedan you don't technically have to do anything, but you might melt your ass end. hahaha.

I didn't have any issues with heat, with the SLP tip strapped to the muffler like it would be on a HB it's a good ways from the rear bumper. I got horrible drone with it under the car though.

Yeah, but if you run straight pipe and a tip it looks like this.....

All it took was a 18" piece of slip fit pipe. It needed "aimed" but it also wasn't clamped in, just hanging around.
