Indecision 2012

Couldnt think of a better title, sorry Comedy Central...

With debate season in full swing I wanted to get a thread going where we can hopefully discuss our thoughts of individuals that might or might not be on the ballot later this year (this includes possible Republican candidates, possible VP candidates, and of course, Obama).

I try and stay as informed as I can but there is ALWAYS knowledge to be spread, and thats why we have FORUMS!

My only hope is that we can keep this away from personal attacks as I dont want to start any bad blood between members.

I've got my whole family voting for Ron Paul in the primary this year. I don't agree with him on everything, like Social Security and Income Tax for instance, but I agree with his views on personal liberty, states rights, less government bureaucracy and foreign policy.

I'm not a smoker, so that's not why I'm voting for him. I do think drugs should be legalized so that we can end the cartel violence on the border and start producing quality drugs here in this country to tax as we do tobacco and alcohol.

I'm more concerned about the economy and the state of our currency, something Ron Paul knows a thing or two about.

Also, he's running as a Republican so that he actually has a chance to win, because as a Libertarian or Independent he has no chance. He's the only Republican candidate to not follow the party line.

I hope so, especially on a federal level and that the DOT will honor that legalization. I want to blaze really bad, but I can lose everything if I test dirty on a DOT drug test which is waaaaay more analyzed than the standard 5 panel. Family is more important than getting ripped, so thats why I drink.
