Aftermarket Wheels: Post'em Up!!!

I'm overly pleased with the look of my 18" Opels, but they are mostly show rims. For my quest for 13-sec, I may need a much lighter wheel. My goal is to see 13's. If I can attain that without lighter wheels I will abort the need to spend money in that direction.

Furthermore, until I sell off all my take-off parts that are crowding up my garage, I promised myself to stop spending money from my income on upgrades.

Money made from selling parts, however, I do not consider as income.

A pair of 15x8 Bogarts and some drag radials wouldn't hurt .

I didnt use any TPMS in my winter steelies or the LTZ wheels I picked up. If I get adapters to run my polished 98 Z24 wheels I wont be using TPMS in them either.

Yeah, I've been going back and forth about getting them on my aftermarket wheels. But since I've been having an occasional phantom fault from them on my stock wheels anyway, I'm not gonna bother. Piece of tape on the speedo and done!

I just ignore it. Already have a few other lights from CC, headlights, and quite often TCS/stability.

I am also used to having lights on the cluster burning away. I cant think of any of my vehicles that doesnt have a light on for something I did intentionally.

Keeping post #1 of this thread updated is quite a chore, but it's nice to have pics and dimensions of a dozen or more different wheels on Sonics all lined up in one post.

Please keep them coming, but also remember to include all the wheel and tire info with your pics.

pacman, can you give more info on yours.

My set are only available here in Australia
Wheels: RJR FANG 17X7
Offset: 42mm
Tires: BJX 225/45 R17 94V XENON Z7 with Nitrogen inflation

I've been having a clearance issue between the inner sidewall of my new tires and the lock rings on the Pedders, because I have them adjusted so damn low.

This is where it used to say G-force:

Also during medium aggressive turns the tread bottoms out causing the inner fender well seam to slice into the tread of the tires, and making a horrific scraping sound:

So I grounded down the sheet metal seam:

And I installed DDMWORKS spacers to clear the Pedders.

Now even closer to flush:

Found two interesting wheels after looking up those Aussie wheels that fit our sonic's in the U.S. Sadly it would cost a good chunk of cash for shipping if you wanted them anytime fast.
