My 2004 Silverado. It's been a great truck with zero problems. Still drives like new. I hope for the same with my Sonic!

Sherbet, I don't know if you will enjoy this, but when I was in the process of taking the old cam out I got pictures of my friends 10 second 3rd gen Camaro and his dads new Grand Sport

Those GS's are great looking cars and that plate is ingenious.

The red 88 16v Scirocco with freshly build 2.0 (cams, etc), the project 81 Scirocco TDI in its current state of stripped, and the 90.5 Jetta GLI 2.0 with 63k original.

My Ranger is an ugly mint green bastard with 300k on it...not photogenic LOL.

I'll back it out of the garage and take some pics this weekend. I've driven it twice since I got it... it is in too good of condition to be subjected to the winter roads.

Agreed, the Scirocco looks pretty sweet.

Initially planned on trading in my wife's 06 Malibu on the Sonic but they wanted to give us nothing for it so I said ok we'll keep it. Got a better price on the Sonic that way too. My plan was to initially keep the Malibu til spring and sell it, but then I thought no I'll trade it for something I like driving better (Cobalt) until spring. Well now I got the Cobalt, I don't drive it in this salt / sand / snow for more than one reason, and I don't plan on selling it this spring. Can a person have too many cars? :banana:

I've got 6 bikes 1 truck 2 cars . And 1 Bike in part in my kitchen that i did not count in the 6 it will be done by spring .:sadbanana:
So the answer is " NO!!" you can't have enough cars :banana:

I agree with that. I had a 2002 Camaro SS, 2004 Corvette C5, and a 2006 Cobalt SS before now I'm just down to a Camaro that I barely drive. Thats what happens when you live walking distance to work.

I've never run it, its not really that fast though, even though its a 2.0, its 80s tech, so mechanical fuel injection, and its naturally aspirated. With the work done its maybe putting 170hp to the crank, has full interior and stereo, a/c etc so probably weighs about 2300-2400 lbs, its not gonna set any records.

There are plenty of Sciroccos running around with modern Audi/VW 1.8T and 2.0T engines...now those are quick, but a lot of money to dump into what ends up being worth maybe $6-7k if you are lucky, to the right buyer.

As seen in my garage - this is my wife's car. It was her present in 2009 for completing her Masters degree:

Fully loaded 2010 Camaro SS. Manual transmission (god bless her), RS Package, Sunroof, Leather interior. All lights blacked out, no mufflers, and 22" RUFF wheels.

Before my Sonic, I was rocking a 1990 Mazda Miata. Way more mods than I can list. But basically coilovers, upgraded sways, endlinks, brakes, exhaust, cooling, 6 point roll bar, 5 point belts, etc. etc. I built the car as a track whore, and had some moderate success in the SpeedVentures street prepared class.

And before the Miata, I was part of the Subaru world. I had a 99 ImprezaRS with a fully built 2.2closed block, t3/t4 turbo, and that wonderful HKS blowoff valve.

I have enough pics of everything to fill entire websites, so I am going to leave it at this.
