I would think you dip smoke them and the dip glossifier them and it should pill off. That's why I want to try them on something small first vs possibly ruining a whole tail light.

I don't know if it does or not, that's why I want to test it. It does not have a product description and Tmo just stated that the clear does not peel off. Just reread, I don't think he knew I was talking about the PlastiDip Glossifier and was commenting on regular clear coat. It should be fine.

Try on some cardboard or something first.

Dip won't peel off cardboard, if use the dip clear it still peels off just don't use enamel or solvent based paints. It may work with water based paints but idk.

Yeah, I think it was just a miscommunication on what clear was being used. I want my Sportsters lenses smoked anyway and will still probably give it a shot in it first.
