I have thought about it, and I can the the dip to look pretty good I have to redo the roof but that was my mistake

When I was at America's Tire yesterday I got talking with the guy about my car and my plans for wheels & tires and what I wanted out of them. He said that since I have performance in mind that I should stick with 15's or 16's and that 17's are still too low profile for this small of a car. Especially since I want grip for cornering.

What do you guys think? I thought 17's would be good cause there's still some good side wall, not like 18's. And they'll be lighter too I guess..

The 17s will make for a harsher ride. If you plan in lowering, go with the 16s. They'll be lighter and the larger sidewall will keep the ride smoother and be more forgiving on hard cornering.

On Tire Rack 16" tires have waaay more high speed rated selection than 17"

I think I'm going with 16's now.

Max Performance Summer Tires
Ultra High Performance Summer Tires
Grand Touring All-Season Tires

my 17s provide a plenty forgiving ride, and they look better.

BUT, obviously you need summer only. Max performance.

I do not have a harsh ride with my 17" LTZ wheels and 225/45/17 Conti's either.

I'm leaning towards the Continentals because they are the not too bad on price, they are the second best in performance between the 4, and they are the lightest, 19lbs.

ANYBODY... know of anyone that has replaced their license plate bulbs? White or colored light? I'm gonna replace mine but want to see what they look like first.

Debating white, red, or blue. LED's of course.
