When I switched from S/C to turbo on my 02 Z24. There was plenty of welding and even drilling a hole in the block done in the driveway.

Think it was a little cold??

Bought a bra off someone on this forum because I have 5 paint chips on my hood so I got it to cover them and prevent more paint chips.

Well 2 days ago after I installed the bra look what happens today.. paint chip above the FN bra....

well i drive over 200 miles a day on the highway going 80mph so maybe that..

My car has been hit by stones thrown up by cars going the other way on the highway. It does happen.

I agree.. im just going to turn it all in on my insurance and have my dealer fix all the paint chips and the spots where some chick backed up into my car

I found one on my roof that has a spot of rust forming. Once I get it taken care of I think the roof will be getting covered in vinyl.

I guess If you're driving 80 then you're probably getting close to other cars on a regular basis. A certain amount of rock chips are inevitable; it's just the price of sharing the road with others. It is just my opinion that certain driving habits tend make your car more likely to get in the way of flying rocks. I don't wish to belabor the point. sorry about your troubles.

Good point, but I would expect it is less common than cars traveling in the same direction. I drive 95% of the time on a divided highway so I may have forgotten that others don't necessarily do the same.

Why does it look like the cowl cover has blue overspray on it? Maybe its just light reflection from the hood or something like that, but the front edge looks blue.
