dude, just go to a muffler shop. they have hangers, welding, a pipe bender (although probably crush).
Ok first off id just like to say so im not accused of just complaining on here... i have been to all the "Muffler"/"Exhaust" shops in my town, no one will touch the car unless its a full kit from a manufacture made for the car direct replacement. I think its messed up too that they wont. Thats what they do at these places right? build exhaust systems.
But for some reason they think building one for my car is and i quote from each one "Too Much Work Involved" to do the setup i want, which to clarify, is nothing crazy, just remove the stock setup from the 2nd CAT back, and replace it with a new custom built 2.25" CAT Back System using the muffler i supply and tip. But because the muffler doesnt have the factory rods to hang in the stock rubber gromets and the new pipes would have to have hangers and what not put in to hold it in properly they dont want to touch it.
Sorry if im coming off as just complaining. its just i dont get it why these companies who are open for this kind of business wont do the job they are asked to do and trained to do. Ive been around town asking various different ones. all have given me the same old crap story. All i want to do is give my car a nice exhaust system and some sound. I never expected it to be this hard to do it. The one guy at the one business litterly said to me and i quote "Why Do you want to do that for?" when i asked what it would cost to do a custom setup on my sonic. So im at a loss for words on this one here. Didnt realize getting a custom system done would be so hard.
and naturally no company sells just the pipes of the system to make your own custom setup. Which is why im checking into the ZZP Setup. Nice system, all pipes prebent to shape, and easily installed all for a nice price of $350 Shipped and can be installed myself to save cash.
