Just went to my dealer for my BringGo MyLink update today, which was completed in about an hour and a half without any huge problems, thankfully. There are noteworthy changes in the UI to my radio, and it starts up much more quickly when the car is turned on, but that's not for this thread!
I haven't been able to attempt to use the BringGo software with the MyLink in my car yet, because the map downloads in the app keep failing every time the various WiFi networks that I've tried to get it on hiccup. The registration process for the app was also very convoluted, involving getting the app, trying to sign in in the app, having an email mailed to me, going to a webpage to log in, then going back to the app to log in and download the maps.
I have to say, I am shocked at the apparent low quality of the BringGo software. I am unaccustomed to dealing with iPhone apps that work so poorly, and there are obvious grammatical errors in the text displayed in the app! Are the people who wrote BringGo native English speakers? If not, they should probably have hired one to make sure that their app was correct!
