I recently had a bad vibration in my car . At first I thought it was just a rough idle I was trying to diagnose that but that all checked out good, so after a lot of reading online I'm pretty sure it's coming from the motor mounts. So I bought all three of them the motor mount the upper drivers side trans mount in the lower trans mount. I guess they say when one goes it can damage the others but the car is a 2016 with only 47000 miles on it but its getting old so I decided to replace them all. After reading online I found that you need to replace the motor mount bolts and the upper trans mount bolts because they are one time use only. It's my understanding that these are sheer bolts they're designed to bend and break in an accident so I guess the motor would drop beneath the car and away from the passenger compartment. I kept trying to find the bolts online I couldn't find them anywhere I kept getting different numbers or the site would say that they weren't the right ones and blah blah blah so I ended up going to the dealer and he had them , the part number for these BOLTS is 11570514. I got them at Starling Chevrolet in Orlando the man there was very helpful, anyway they were $2.28 a piece and I bought six of them because you need three for the engine mount and they're the three that go in for the transmission mount on the upper drivers side on the drive (under the battery) it's the same bolt I was told the lower transmission mount strut you don't have to replace the bolts for that ,so just want to inform everyone that that's the part number I think you can find them cheaper online. I saw them for 60 some cents a piece but I didn't know what the part number was until I went to the dealer.
