Yes but there has to be a vent.
If your nipple is only moist then you are waiting your time bring it to the dealer.
Theoretically could you drain the trans fluid, run the transmission dead, put the fluid back in, warranty fix it? A manual transmission will function for a while with no fluid... but will eventually seize up. Typically, the roller bearings would destroy themselves before other parts are damaged. If you are lucky, the input or countershaft will seize first. If you are unlucky, the output shaft will seize.
I'm not planning on doing anything, I'm legitimately curious with the information you just told me, how they could prevent someone from doing that...
I can't get a rental I'm not 23.
