Camaro ZL1 suede steering wheel in Sonic!

Anyone know how the Camaro and/or Sonic RS wheel will work with the Cruze?

According to earlier in the thread, yes they will fit.

To those that did this: How does the ZL1/RS and/or SS wheel fit the hands at the 9-3 position? The base Sonic wheel seems to be made specifically for the 10-2 position and has no accommodation for fingers behind the upper part of the "T".

So I had the wheel put in this morning, all fits perfect and blue tooth buttons work. BUT, cruise control doesn't work so I gotta go back to the stock wheel

Not sure. They couldn't think of anything else that would work.. Oh well, now I'm that much closer to getting the tune

didn't someone say that they had to replace the cruise control buttons with the ones from their stock wheel?

...Everything plugged right in but because of the difference in cruise swith it wouldnt work....so I had to get my factory sonic cruise switch into the zl1 wheel. After some online searching I found that the trim and switches just pull/pop off of the wheel.. so the sonic switch doesnt snap into the zl1 plastic because of minor differences but the shape is exactly the same so you dont notice and it is secured onto the wheel by 3 push in tabs. so After some finangling got it all working and together! Looks great I love it.. Ill get pics up ASAP

i ordered the SS steering wheel that goes in the 1LE. Suede with white stitching to match my white Sonic RS. Getting it installed this Monday morning. Will post pics... paid 190$ installed.

Cool choice on the wheel and you have to pull the trim off the wheel and remove the factory cruise switches on both wheels and put the factory sonic switch into the zl1 wheel and put the trim back on. It mostly snaps/clips/pushes but there may be one torx in there...
