Tire rub

I changed my stock rims and now I have a tire rub problem on the front tires anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it Thanks for any help.

What did you change to? I am on 7.5" by 17" rims wearing 225 X 45 tires on a lowered RS w/o rubbing.

can the fenders be be rolled? maybe you should look into some different tires. Use a tire calculator to keep the tire size as close to stock as possible.

"They're" is the conjunction you were looking for. The fenders are steel. Don't you own one of these?

Edit: just reached underneath and felt around. Yep steel it is... They feel like plastic from the outside..... Wow do I feel stupid now.

To be honest I never really payed attention, when I would wax the fenders they felt like plastic...

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Bet if you post some pictures and specs you will easily have the multiple correct answers you're looking for.

I was trying to stay with my stock tires till later but the rims are wider then the stock ones. I have 15x6.5 5x105 my tires are 195-65R 15

How wide are they? How big? And what is the offset?

Stock is 15 X 6 and et of .39.

I do not see how that can cause "tire rub."

I am not sure what is wrong but I doubt it is the wheel change.

So you want to stretch your stock tires? I would see this causing a problem if they can be safely stretched
