When I was in veo tech we rebuilt a 6.5. In a 2500 suburban and it was a pain I can't imagine a vantry replacing the injection pump and PMD in a 6.5 turbo diesel in a G van.

I did, pretty well. I got up a 3am, which is only an hour and a half earlier than my usual.
It just occurred to me, that if the swap goes well, I may have time to also get my alignment done today. I need to dial the toe-in to zero, and maybe take a little camber out.
This in addition to doing poly in the LCA bushings should hopefully put the kibosh on the wheel hops.
I'd much rather have tire burnout than trans blowout.:blankface:

BTW, was not aware that ******* was as much of a problem in CSS as it was in CS? I know for a short time in 2001-2002 or so ******* was a big problem and is the original reason I gave up on it and stayed with TFC.

I never really made the switch to Source. Just dabbled a bit at a LAN cafe on weekends.
I'm good with my thumbs and I've been playing COD S&D for 8 years now. Search & Destroy gametype. It's set up much like the bomb site scenario in CS. And the hardcore damage model means people are more strategic and team oriented (usually).

Do they have it for PC and if so, is it properly designed as in not ported over from the console?
I'm strictly a mouse and keyboard man.
Not to sound dumb but, if it is on pc what game would I want to buy and does S&D come with it or is it an addon?

I'm so fuqqin excited to get my car going today. I only got to enjoy the red pill for 2 days before I went out in a blaze of glory.
Add the MZ0 to the red pill, I think I'm in for a treat.
What is the MZ0.. that's one from a Cruze? How is that one different from the RS one?

They have it for PC and it works well from all I've heard. Server structures vary from game to game though.
Hardcore S&D is just a game mode so it's included. On account of ******* in older games you'll probably want to try Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Play core S&D and move to Hardcore S&D mode after you get the hang of the game.
Avoid the deathmatch modes if at all possible. That's where the COD franchise got its reputation as a mindless "run and gunner".

Where did you get the control arm bushings?
Hope the tranny swap works out for you with no issues.
