A new DeLorean has the option for a 120mph speedometer which i assume means they also don't put in any type of limiting switch

I haven't had any problems with it, but I'm only 6'. Only issue I have so far is that I can't remove one of my rear headrests so I can't put the back seat down.
On the subject of rear headrests, I've had no problem removing them. There is a little button on top of the seats in the plastic grommet and they seemed to easily release both headrests.
What do you all think of the non-headrest look? It increases the rear view visibility and makes it easier to plunk down the rear seats without moving the front seat up a bit. And they can be stowed in the area under the top hatch floor for the occasional rear passenger.

My wife absolutly hates the head rests in my Sonic, and flipped the passenger side one backwards ... shes short too which I thought was odd. I tried to tell her I didn't think it was safe, but she couldnt be swayed.
Personally I love em... most cars dont have enough support for me up there, my Mustang being one of those.

MGDAVIS: I'm not certain if its a Delorean that can't get over 85 or perhaps you mean the Corvair. We have had the Corvair up to 90, and if not for the sensation that the nose was about to lift up, might have tried to hold it there.
It is rock solid to the low 80's but get nervous any faster. On the other hand, the Corvair was designed for the old US Highways, not the Interstates, which were designed and built for speeds considerably higher than the current posted limits. But whatever the speed, with the top down and the sun shining, its hard to imagine getting closer to driving bliss.

Oh NASCAR knows about rain tires - they were used in both the 2008 and 2009 Nationwide race in Montreal. 2008 race...No, I did not. I will look for a rerun.
I did catch Montoya's close personal confrontation with the track dryer Monday night. It took a few replays before I could see his car sliding to the infield.
F1 races in the rain using rain tires. Now that NASCAR has discovered fuel injection maybe someone will tell them about rain tires.

Weird - I've had my Sonic for over 4 months now and am 6 feet tall and don't find the headrests in either the front or back seats to be an issue. Is it the angle that people have their seat backs at that's maybe the issue? Even my son at 6'2" doesn't have a problem with the headrests.
