I went to the doctor today and he had me have an EKG and chest X-ray for the cardiologist I have to go see. I'll get to take a stress test when I go.

Picked up a really nice torque wrench off my other forum. They had a promo code for $50 off and I bought it. Best $99 I've spent on a tool in along time. I tested it on my lug nuts( I do by hand with a breaker bar) and I was really close on them all at 90 foot pounds

Easiest way to test a torque wrench is to rig it up so you can hang say 20 pounds off of it 1 foot away from the socket. I bought a used clicking style one from a coworker a while back and decided to actually test it before using it to torque the model A's headbolts with it.

Does yours beep or something when you hit a set torque?

It has a extremely loud beep. It also has green yellow and red lights to guide you

Haven't had time to do spring cleaning yet. It's actually the dining room table... As soon as the weather broke we have been plowing fields non stop

In the tractor or beside it or don't eat at all, if it's anything like planting/harvest here.

On a side note, I enjoy cooking for the harvest crews.. not much better than spending all day cooking and watching it devoured in seconds. Them boys be HUNGRY!

Never worked on a farm but I'm pretty sure I'm not man enough for it.
I think it would kill me in less then a few hours.

We'll start with the fact my single most favorite thing is refrigeration and the fact that I hate it when its warmer then 75F.


Everyone who works or has worked on a farm has my respect. Even if they drive a 1.8 :)

Agreed anything over 75 sucks. My day consists of getting up at 7 working on the farm till 1 get cleaned up for work leave at 1:30 to be there by 2:30 then work till 1am and get home at 2 and go to bed. Never ending cycle

I'll tell ya, I grew up on a cattle/hay farm, throwing hay and working cattle all summer, that'll kick your butt, but jeez I was kick-a$$ in shape back then.. left the farm and haven't found anything that will keep me as cut as that. Working on it, lol.

Now I just help out with cooking and stuff, hubby works for the co-op over the summer so my help is keeping them all nourished when they go in at 6am and drag home well after dark, no time to stop and eat, and barely to keep hydrated.

I just woke up and am doing housework with Meshuggah, Type O Neg and Otep.

It is a good but painful Friday as I have a four day weekend, but will be spending it OUT of the sun.
