I have been searching the forums for a while now and building ideas for my car till I had enough for a build thread. Bought the car in September 2012, white LT 1.8 5spd Sedan as a DD for my trek from Kendall, FL to Delray beach, FL (140 miles round trip Monday to Friday). LOVE the car and it has done exactly what i wanted it for and thats get between 35-45 MPG to replace my V8 AllWheel Drive 4Runner that got 12-16 MPG.
Small talk out of the way here is my build thread in order i completed it.
First mod I did was purchase a black leather keyfob cover with white stitching to go along with the car. Next easy mod was to replace the hi and low beams with Phillips Crystal Vision and i am very happy with the output and the clean whiter color of the bulbs. After that i went with PIAA Ion Yellow fogs and was skeptical at first about them but love how they look and how they light up the sides of the road on those dark mornings.

After i finished these i was fine for a bit until i couldn't stand the gold on the bowties and covered it in black vinyl.
I waited a while to decide to work with Plastidip as I had never used it before but heard how easy it was to use here so took the plunge. I started by taping off the rear emblems and chrome then worked my way down the side to the window trim.
Next up was the chrome on the headlights and fog lights plus the grille surround. I know lots have people have done the Evo front end but i love how it makes the car look so i went with it.
After I unmasked the front end i loved how it looked with the lights blacked out and was tough to remove it and will lead to me getting the Lamin-X head and fog film shortly.
The day after i went to work on dipping the wheels. I opted to take them off for easy of job, although I know many people leave em on the car. I taped off the lugs and placed them in their opening to stop build up so when i mounted them it wouldn't tear.
Finished product and the pup even helped dry them in the sun.
I also ordered white aluminum valve stem covers with matching caps to add a touch of color to the wheels that kinda of disappeared.
At this point a majority of the car is all white with black accents and a friend of mine told me it reminded him of a Stormtrooper from Star Wars. I liked the idea of that so i searched online for a Stormtrooper Edition sticker and funny enough found this sticker on an Xterra forum and ordered it for the trunk lid.
Even came with a little trooper decal.
