I have a hankering to paint the "black" fog light surrounds (along with the "chrome" trim), and two hood-mounted windshield sprayers, and maybe some other parts the same color as the car, IOM. I'm hoping to get the absolutely matching (!) paint in spray cans. Does anyone recommend one U.S. supplier over another? I once ordered the hard-to-find and hard-to-match Patriot Blue Metallic Pearlcoat for my 2004 Durango from PaintScratch.com, in handheld spray can. It was the dead-on correct paint. But it was expensive.
Has anyone tried their local auto paint supplier, asked for auto paint in spray cans, and was happy with what they got? I'm fearing that matching the GM IOM color, with proper metallic flakes, won't be easy. Is GM selling their paints in spray cans?
