Thanks, I need to look into this tune everyone's talking about. Will I lose much in mpg?
Yes your 1st few fill ups will yield horrible MPG. Once you stop having so much fun with the throttle you will get the same to slightly better gas mileage.
I've gotten a best of 55mpg out of a tank of gas and regularly go mid 40 mpgs with a tune and a fair bit of other mods. Eric Smit has purportedly gone as high as 67 mpg. Albeit there's a few underlying driving techniques that must be used to get this high but it illustrates that the tune won't hurt your gas mileage if you can control the throttle.
Here's a couple links for you to meander thru when convenient.

Does that ever happen SX??
Turbito, remember while reading that your RS will most likely not net the same MPGs as the LT or LTZ turbos. I've heard of lower 40s, and my own personal best is 38.4, but you have to try for those. My personal best was an entire tank of 55mph mountain cruising.
Yep, just leave it in ECO mode haha
What's ECO MODE?
