DIY steering wheel plastic?

Hello!
Has anyone done anything with the gray plastic piece on the steering wheel?
I played around with some carbon fiber and I'm not sure if I like it or not. Here's a pic

Any suggestions/ideas are greatly appreciated

haha I actually did it real quick with a bunch of random pieces I had left over just to see how it looked.

Uhh surprisingly, doing this with a lot of pieces looks really good IMO. Although, actually painting it would look better.

It's really easy! They just pop right off.

i would like to know how it popped off. ive tried to pull mine off and it really didnt feel like it wanted to just pop off. i'm a little heavy handed and tend to break things that are supposed to come off with moderate to light pressure. how does it fasten? with tabs?

GIRL HANDS!! does anyone know how to remove that plasic piece on the steering wheel? if it is even possible?:sadbanana:

Turn the wheel up side down use a screw driver and serious the airbag pins pop the airbag out and pull the trim
