back to compound turbo 1.4s.. clip the turbine and or port the wastegate would allow more flow thru factory unit. Has anyone measured the drive pressure an a tuned car with stock exhaust? Maybe as long as the compound setup was only used in full turbo back, cat-less setups on e85 and less than 30 psi it could very well maintain the same drive pressure many of our cars are already seeing with the increased exhaust flow of the tune and the bottle neck of the stock exhaust. There's no math or evidence on my statements just a rudimentary understanding and some experience from multiple turbo projects. No doubt about it the turbo upgrade rather than compound is looking better all he time. They need to make a turbo upgrade kit that is turbo, manifold, downpipe sold desperate, and stock intercooler and mate to current intake setups easily.. that's whole 4,000$ kit is nice but too much to bite off in one chunk for Me and most people I think.
