Well this is what mine has done:
Turbo brake delete
Waste gate delete
Egr delete
Light pump work
And I should be at 190hp and 300lb of tq ish. But it's a higher rpm diesel then most. I had it set to 4500 rpm redline when I modified the engine. Turbo dies shortly after that.
All in all its a ticking time bomb pushed north of 250hp it was built to be reliable with in a Hp range and that it does very well.
You can mod the 606 north of 450hp with no issues but I came across the 617 first and at a good price
And I'm ok with that. I wanted to build a daily driver not a race truck.
Can't we have both my Cummins is near 700 HP and I drive it daily since my girlfriends Saab 9-3 died she fell in love with my sonic and I haven't seen it since lol. Had her talked into buying Cruz turbo diesel until found out no manual.
