That looks very nice. You should keep those wheels.
Seems like a lot for shipping.... Ive never paid more than $100 for shipping wheels. I shipped cobalt wheels a few months back, boxes were 20x20x11 and weighed 23-24 lbs each and I shipped all 4 from West MI to North NY via UPS for $87.....
Could you get smaller boxes and use more accurate weight for quotes??

the weight looks correct to me. Im guessing the rims are roughly 20 something pounds since the 17x7.5 ones are 18.7lbs and the tires weigh 20lbs.

Correct business get a bulk discount on shipping items. When I worked for FedEx fortune 500 companies with a FedEx account could ship a paper envelope overnight anywhere in the US for about $5. Obviously since I don't own a business I can't get that bulk discount. I definitely could detach the wheels ship the wheels in a box. Then ship the tires separately (not in a box). But I was thinking that if I leave the tires on the wheels it will provide better shipping protection.

This I could see doing. But even if I did that when I worked at FedEx there was an additional fee for shipping anything that isn't in a box.

Ok everybody I will package the tires like in the link that FoxBox posted where the tires are left on the rims with the protective packaging and cardboard. I will take a few pictures tomorrow with them completely wrapped up. I will take a picture of them on top of an official FedEx & UPS scale. Then I will write down everybody's zip codes so I can get everybody shipping prices. So far this is the full list of zip codes that everybody has given me:
