What's a good muffler to put on my sonic sedan I want it a little louder. I already removed the resonator. Has anyone done a thrush muffler or a flowmaster muffler?

Do it right and get the cat-back. It's $300, you'll prolly spend $150-$200 purchasing a quality muffler and having it welded in. Just save up and do it right.

Getting the cat-back will virtually last forever since it's stainless. Your hacked up stock system will rust apart if you're anywhere in the salt belt.

I live in Florida so I don't worry about salt rusting my exhaust

Foxbox's point is still valid, $300 dollars for a complete system with muffler is a great price and the quality is bar none. You'll spend that on an exhaust + install unless you can weld.

welding in a muffler is cheap. i got quotes of 25$ to do my sonic........mufflers ive seen 40-80$ thats almost 200 cheaper. i had a chevy truck for 5 years with a weld in muffler 2nd cat delete just cut and added a pipe in its place as long as the welds are done solid it will outlast the car. also i live in california i believe if your in an area where it snows tnat can decrease the life but big wow re-weld. just my .02
