Hey guys,
Thought I would share some of these photos now that the car is pretty much finished. If you'd like to read all about the build up, pick up a magazine as the tech stories are currently running in the issues on news stands.
However, I know pictures speak a thousand words so without further ado...
Track Setup: 17x9 Volk TE37V wheels on 235/45R17 Toyo R888 Rubber.
Street Setup: 18x9.5 Volk TE37SL wheels on 245/40R18 Toyo T1S Rubber.
The car is on BC Racing coilovers which are a good coilover setup for this car. They are a bit on the harsh side with the 18-inch wheels but perfect on the track setup.
I had a roll bar installed for track duty, here's a shot of right after painting it. Let me tell you it was a huge pain in the ass masking the inside of the car to paint this bar... never again.
Upfront a set of Recaro Sportser CS seats were fitted with Takata Racing belts. These seats cost a pretty penny but they are so amazing. The perfect blend between track and street.
I worked closely with Morgan at MPFab for all the performance parts including his intercooler upgrade.
A Snow Performance water/meth kit is installed but has yet to be tuned. I'm hoping to pick up some good power with this setup.
I put some big Brembo brakes on the car and built some ducting as well. The brakes are by far the best modification done to the car. The braking power and threshold is now so much better than stock.
Under the hood an MPfab intake, full turbo back exhaust and IC piping kit round off the mods. I modified the front high beam headlight to get some more cold air flow to the intake and give the car a meaner look.
The fender flares, ducts and front lip are both custom designed pieces from ML24 Designs. Plus I also painted all the chrome trim black which improved the look of the car tremendously.
So that's it for now. I wish I had more time to do a detailed thread build on the car but sadly I'm caught up with many other projects. Like I said though, most of the details and build up of the car can be found in the magazine.
