In the past 20+ years of driving on Michelin radials, i have never had a flat tire. Maybe 3 times I had a "soft" tire (nail in it) that was quickly repaired at the nearest gas station. I have been getting 60K+ miles on Michelin radials. Wouldn't wear any other brand of tires on my wheels. P.S. I drive 20K+ miles a year, mostly on freeways.

"The more a man guards his tongue and is reluctant to express rash judgments based solely on his experiences alone, the less likely he is to look like a fool in retrospect!"
I have had Michelins, Bridgestones, Continentals, Dunlops... just name the brand, and have at times had three to four flat tires per year. This last year -- thus far -- my wife and I have had four flats due to nails or screws... obviously the year is not over. I have no clue where these nails and screws are coming from... but they are out there. It's not as if we're hanging out at construction sites!
I for one am grateful for spare tires... as obsolete as they may seem to some.
