I have a set of 18's and I currently run 225 40 18. I was wondering if I can run a thicker tire. Even when I get my lowering springs

Looking to put a set of 16x8 inch wheels on my 1.4T hatch in the near future. I have the opption of (et: +12, 0, -12, -38, -51, -64 -76). I want to run the same width and et on both the front and back so, spacers are expected. I guess what Im asking is what et should I order my wheels with, and what spacers should I run for the front and back. Im looking for a flush fittment up front, and some slight poke in the rear. Also a nice strecht, not to much not to little. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.
Thanks Black Turbo LTZ, thats a huge help! For the wheels Ill be getting the closest offset to 30-34 is -25 to -38. Could I swing a -25 et with spacers and still get the fitment I want?
An ET of 25 would require no spacers since your poke is already gonna be huge compared to stock. But I warn you that when I ran my 215's with the 5mm spacers(which gave me a ET29 if I bottom out the tire was chewing the finders)
Well I know when I had my Jetta I rolled my fenders can you do that with the Sonic??
I know some of the guys have messed with fenders for better fitment..best guys to talk to, Preloader and MPFab on that subject.
Thanks man again super helpful! What wheels and spacers are you running?
DDM spacers are sized to meet SCCA rules so I suspect no other sizes are offered.

I have a 13 rs and was wanting to know if 19x10 (rear) and 18x8.5 (front) will fit? Was thinking like a +20 offset.
