Almost every turbo application(from the factory) has a huge upside, with cobalt TC's guys were making 40+hp & 70+ ftlb with tuning alone...on a 1.4 I could see 20/40 being a reasonable scaled guesstimate. Really depends on how much room there is for improvement in stock form...
Ehh this is true but it comes with a price....People may not be seeing any issues right now but running this small turbo at 22psi is going to catch up with it...Our turbos are only suppose to support 16psi max...This is my 3rd turboed car and my first one 2003 GTI 1.8T i did this same thing to that small turbo (KO3 Sport) Built for max about 16psi and I ran it at 23 psi and sure enough, a few thousand miles later, it blew.....I also had a SRT4 but put in a 50 Trim turbo swap (built to support 30psi@500whp). Its fun to max out your turbo way beyond its means, but the price to play will come along with it....
