Guys, is this just me, or does MyLink's sound increase when the speed increases above 50mph or so? I checked and the sound setting is at the same number (say, 10) but the actual sound of the speakers gets quite a bit louder when I get on the highway, as if to compensate for the road noise. I know some car sound systems do it, but wasn't sure if MyLink did. Is it all in my head?

No if im correct I believe theres a setting on your headunit that you can set to be louder at higher speeds and quiter at lower speeds. You can adjust it to change the sound quite a bit. Some. Or you can turn it off. I think. I may be wrong

Such a feature does exist for us. It's meant to help compensate for road/wind noise at higher speeds.

Yes it does, for 2013+ models anyway. Not sure about 2012s. Page 7-10 and 7-11 of the 2013 manual. Here's a link.

I enabled this on mine ('13 w/MyLink.) Set the level to medium, works quite well.

I don't know about you, but I'm loving the sound system actually. It depends on your settings of course, but I think overall it does a really good job, considering it's a not a premium Bose system or anything like that. The bass is a bit overpowering sometimes, but it's great for what it is.

I have the Bose system in my '06 Ranier. The sound quality from the MyLink isn't far behind.
On a side note (and not trying to hijack a thread) anyone know if the speakers on a Bose system are Bose or is it just the head unit? I have 1 blown speaker. Strange thing is its fine in cold weather. In the summer it cracks with any base.
