ZZP Catback dangles down....

Has anyone else noticed that their ZZP Catback exhaust hangs way down, in comparison to the original exhaust? I would like to put car on springs or coils but am worried if I go any lower than stock she would be close to scraping....Did I just get a dud or has anyone else noticed this? Thanks:sadbanana:

I have the turboback ZZP exhaust with a magnaflow muffler and I'm lowered on eibachs. I scrape bumps sometimes with my muffler even going as slow and sideways as possible. We got a bunch of snow and now the front of my car is a snow plow... But you should be fine if you decide to lower it. Make sure the exhaust hangers are snug in the right position though.

I noticed that when I saw yours the other day at the Giant. My ZZP was similar. I found when fitting the system, I had a choice of A:a drooping pipe in the middle of the system with great exhaust tip placement or B: high pipe with a tip that pointed down and to the left in the bumper cover cutout. I basically split the difference. My pipe is fairly high up and I got the tip pretty centered but it does point down a bit. Sadly, other than rotating the pipes, there's not much you can do with fitment.

Every year on my birthday I get a tattoo of a small dash on my inner thigh where my balls currently hang...

To solve this issue I ordered 2 extra exhaust hangers from GM and installed them on the two hangers for the muffler. Problem solved

Part number? I would like to see some pictures and dimensions. Hopefully it's similar to what I have here at work.

Yes...I am also interested in part numbers for the gm hangers...thank you. Rockcrusher...what color is your car? I have yet to see your car in the area...

I wish I kept the bags with the part numbers, I just called my dealer and said the last 2 rubber hangers and the guy said its the same model for most GMs so you shouldn't have a problem when you call to order. Also I loosened the two clamps on the "s"pipe and turned it so it sits higher that helped as well. check in my garage you should see a pic of the tip placement and height

Mine's a red '12 LT Hatch, stock except for the ZZP catback and my wife's is a stock '13 cyber gray LT Sedan.
