headlights flickering

For the last 2 months I've ran a 500 watt mtx amp with one 12 and had no problem, but last weekend I upgraded to an 800 watt Kenwood amp and 2 12s and now even with the bass turned all the way down my lights flicker to the point where they almost turn off, making driving at night impossible. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

Invest in a good quality capacitor.

Like above, a good capacitor will help. Maybe 5 to 10 farad. Also, verify you have a good ground. You can upgrade the factory ground at the battery as well to help stabilize the voltage. Just add a 4 awg wire from the negative terminal to the chassis close to the battery.
