FREE hood strut install (Dexter, MI people please look!!)

A while ago I got in contact with redline tuning in MI for their hood struts for the Sonic... they need a donor car...

basically you would go in sometime during the week after work hours, 4:30-5 and let them install the struts on your car taking pics and they will use your car in their advertisement and you'll get the set of struts for free!

I live in WV so it was too far of a drive but if someone would be REALLY interested please contact me at wvupntr14@gmail.com whoever contacts me first will be forwarded onto REDLINE's email and go from there... they promised me a set as well if I got someone to come to them to get it all installed :banana:

You balk at a mere three hour round trip for free stuff? Heck I'd drive that far just to look at someone else's Sonic!

After all, not only Sonic stuff, but hey, I get to drive the car.

Yep, I still love the Sonic that much. Embarrassing really.

I will get more pictures tomorrow for you guys. Install will be very easy and should only take 5 minutes. Three of that will probably be spent finding tools. No drilling required at all. It is a bolt in kit using factory bolt locations. One for the fender and one for the hood hinge to hood.

My phone does not take the best pictures. I will try to get outside with my camera after work tomorrow.

Yes. Hood opens and closes easy. Very pleased with them.

AWESOME! Even easier than on my TBs where you had to drill a few holes and install the brackets with rivets.

Gonna order a set before the summer, want to get a suspension brace first.
