Solution for hard plastic door arm rest

I've been wracking my brain trying to think of a way to pad the hard plastic armrest on the left side of the driver's seat. Today, came across an unorthodox yet highly effective solution:

Breezybro, I imagine the expense and maintenance are well worth it. I think this is a very versatile solution: can also be used as a neck pillow or a seat heater

Eric, even a dead dog is a better solution than the hard plastic we have now, imho

The dead dog is probably free. It's the air fresheners to get rid of the stink that will be expensive.
