Yes that's my plan. That and other things planned for when I get decent enough weather worth removing the front end and warmth enough for paint to dry.

Finished doing the Dynamat on all the doors over the weekend. I can't even describe well enough the HUGE difference this makes in the vehicle. Your subs hit so much harder on the same volume, and when open and closing the doors it is more like a upper tier luxury car and no longer like a tin can with a window. It really is dramatic, and to be able to do all four doors, hatch, and spare tire area for only $130 (2x package shown on Amazon @ $63/ea) I highly recommend this to anyone.

Monday night I decided the yellow blur from the stock headlamps had to go, so off to the parts store and came back with a wallet $100 lighter. I tried to take pics showing the difference, but they don't do it justice.

Installed DDMWORKS shift bushings last night, and I have to say that I was somewhat doubtful about what little they would do. Boy was I wrong. The difference in feel is quite dramatic. They take all the play out of the shifts which I really like. It is like a flashback to the days of arcades and I was sitting and dumping my allowance a quarter at a time into Pole Position. FUN!!

Minnesota finally allowed me a 70 degree day so that I could get some painting finished, thus allowing me to finally get my fog lights installed! I also took the opportunity to paint the ugly chrome headlight rings inferno orange to match the rears. It's much nicer to do it this way so as not to break anything.
I have to say that the front end removal went like clockwork, although the part where you just have to cross your fingers and TUG is a little daunting if you've never done it before!!
I'd like to ask readers, is there any way to tug the side fender clips(not sure what to call them) to ensure that none of the attachments crack and/or break? What is the trick, or what is the tool that body shop folks use? Anyone know? So much of the engine/exhaust work is more easily done by removing the front fascia, but that can take a toll if the connection points are breaking/cracking with every removal. Tips anyone?
I took this pic this AM with terrible lighting, but I also painted the fog bezels to match the metallic black to match the color used on the headlight surrounds. I think it turned out pretty well. Still need to swap the switch and flash at the dealer, but the main PITA work is done.

The trim isn't actually paint, it's the same trim that would be in any car you'd buy from the dealer if you paid for the expensive model with the wood grain trim. You can get from carid.com made by Remin. You want to talk about the most stressful mod you can do - THIS IS IT!
The catback sounds awesome! I'm a 36 year old guy with kids and a mortgage, so the last thing I wanted to do was turn my car into what a teenager would have, so I didn't want it sounding too ricey. I couldn't even tell you how many video clips I listened to trying to decide which to buy, and ZZP won out. Only regret, I should've just bought the whole turbo back initially but I had no clue it would be so easy to do.
All my life I've worked on cars, solely to keep them running, so working on new cars simply for the sake of making them "better" in whatever way that means to you is something that is COMPLETELY new to me.
I'm looking at getting zzp turbo back stainless exhaust.

Just a quick question since you are the only one to remove the rear trunk panel... Do you think there is enough room for 2 shallow mount 6" or 8" subs in there like these Kicker 40CWRT671 or these Pioneer TS-SW841D?

If you're going to have a box built, or build one, then yes as long as you're going to go with any of the low profile subs. When I wanted bass added to mine, I decided that I wasn't at the point of committing to a custom install at that point since I had very few mods at that point and whatever I thought was good at that point was very likely to change in the future. So, I went with the 10" JL Audio in its own box with plenty of extra wire that I could move wherever I want. This box would fit in that compartment as is, providing you cut a circle for the speaker grill to poke through.

I figured I'd post a couple of better pics showing my fog lights and paint work from last weekend, the light this AM was PERFECT. I couldn't be much happier about how things turned out, especially considering I've been painting the fogs off and on for the last month waiting for decent enough weather to dry them.
I already have the Lamin-X film to tint the fogs, but I want to get them flashed at the dealer and see them in action before I decide for certain.

Where did you get the Inferno Orange paint from?
