So, I wanted to replace the fog lights with yellow ones. I asked the dealer when I went in if they could install them for me. They said $100. I replied back that the car already had the fog lights installed and I just wanted them to swap the bulbs. They said that they knew and that it was $100 just to swap the bulbs (even though when I had a fog light burned out in my Celica Valvoline replaced it for free, but anyway..). After that, I figured I would wing it and figure it out myself since GM did not put how to do this in the owners manual. Anyway, here it goes.
You will need a T20 bit, the replacement bulb, and the key to start your car. The bulbs are H11 by the way.
First, start your car and cut the wheel all the way to one side (Right to work on the left light, left to work on the right light).
Next, locate the three screws inside the wheel well that you will need to remove.
And the screw under the bumper.
Remove all four screws and pry open the wheel well. Don't worry about breaking it, it seemed really flexible when I did it.
Locate the fog light socket.
From here it is just like changing a standard headlight. Turn the socket/bulb a quarter turn, unclip the bulb, replace, then perform steps in reverse.
