Yeah I was just gonna find a bolt with the same thread and paint it black and put it in just never got around to it.

How did you do that?
I have a badge that requires access behind the grill and I can't work out how to get there.

Brasschucker did it for me. He basically made metal brakets from sheet metal and double sided stick taped it to it then to the grill then used some plastidip to cover up the sheet metal look.
You can see it before we dipped the metal in this picture.

Rear hub is a 15 minute job on this car. Im sure the rear disk swap made it easier/quicker, but its still fairly easy and painless.

I would like to know what idiot came up with the thermostat set up on the 1.8. At least the replacement is aluminum and somewhat better of a design. Eventually I will sort out a fixed 195* thermostat set up for this car. No bleed hole in the stat does make the air bleed process a little different and somewhat worriesome about potential for hot spots in the process.
