It should make your BPV more crisp. TBH i find i more interesting that you could hear it at all without an intake. I removed my snorkel and opened up my airbox but couldn't hear the BPV until i added my intake.

So I can hear it again it's a tad bit more crisp so yeah. Ive been thinking about an intake but hard times hit so as soon as I pull out of it then tons of mods will be done.

How A Turbo Works
The way the selenoid works from what I understand is that it moderates the BOV by forcing it to open slightly under conditions set by GM thereby releasing the pressure you want to continue building. Bypassing this moderating process allows the turbo to work as it was designed to, without computer interference, meaning the pressure will continue to build and dump off only when the driver allows it through throttle movement, up shifting, ect. This gives the driver much more control of being able to actually drive the car instead of the car driving him by undermining the ability of the driver to shift and have throttle play.

Which of the green hoses are suppose to be bypassed ? The one on the left or the one more towards the middle of the manifold ?

Yes
In this picture the one end of the green hose is plugged off (the one that is not connected to anything). The new hose goes where it use to go as you can see in this pic.

Ok mines hookup right then. I second guessed myself when I saw the other hose coming from another part of the manifold cause I didn't see that hose at all while working on this mod.

So I did mine about a month ago. And under moderate acceleration in high gears the BPV "blows off" in two or three stages. Is this damaging anyway. Just want to make sure because I'm about to drive from Tulsa oklahoma to New Orleans and want to make sure I don't run into any problems

It may be your throttling more than the mod. Even when the throttle is slightly released it will dump off some but not all of your boost. If you have an ultra-gauge you can see the numbers fluctuate as you play with the throttle. Now if your turbo / BPV is fluttering that's a different story.

so my vac hose popped off while doing a WOT. The vac hose had expanded through out the time with all that pressure. just letting people know.

Could you provide a picture for clarity sake? I'm working on a solution using a high line with a bearing for a plug. Big enough not to get sucked in of course.

There shouldn't be ANY pressure, because this is a vacuum line.

The hose modified in this mod carries both positive and negative pressure. But 'vacuum hose' is easier to type and more readily understood than 'manifold pressure reference hose'.

it was the vac hose that was bypassed that connects to the intake manifold. no biggie though i just replaced it with a new hose.

How will I know if it's flutter. It only does it when I fully let off the throttle
